Default Bahamas crossing

I have a couple of boats heading to the Abacos from St. Lucie inlet if anyone would like to follow or come along with us. We will clear at Walkers and then head South to Foxtown. Leaving at the crack of dawn on 7-29 with plans to return to St. Lucie (straight acrossed) on 8-5. Weather will be a consideration as we get closer to the dates but we normally do not have too many issues this time of year.

With the resort closed, are there any issues with customs being open for business?

It has been that way for years, no issue with customs. The airstrip is still active. On a slow day you sometimes have to wait for the customs guy to get to the office but not really an issue since they are always on the island. Now docking the boat can sometimes be interesting since most of the docks are gone, but creativity always seems to win.

Thanks for the info.

Can't be worse than the customs dock at Bimini.

Have a good trip, wish I could join you.
