Where can I purchase 2 axles from tire to tire so I can move a boat from St. Augustine area to New Orleans?

Thanks for the info. I have never replaced the axles before but I guess I'll need to. I thought I saw on the site where someone got a stainless steel setup.

Stainless is only for fasteners and brakes. You want galvanized axles. If the axles have brake flanges, try to find axles that were hot dip galvanized AFTER the flanges were welded on. If you can't, it shouldn't be a deal breaker, but galvanizing over the welds is good.

Careful with B and B trailer 2 axels my end up costing near as much as a new trailer. I would order the parts online for a third of the cost.

I checked with expediter.com and we had to guess on almost everything as to size, length and weight. It appears I'll be looking at about $1400 plus tax and shipping for what I need. This will give me a complete undercarriage for the trailer. I don't know what a new or used trailer to carry 3500# would be. In fact, I may not need one to carry that much weight for the 1967 19' Bowrider.

Call first coast trailer in St Augustine. You might get a new trailer for close to that. Not Alum. of course.

The outboard version weighed 1300# and 2300# with a 6-cyl I/O per the brochure on Carla's web site so a tandem trailer is probably overkill. A good single axle trailer would work, although a tandem trailer might be a little more stable when towing.

I bought a trailer from ACE trailers last year. Could not beat the price. He also sells parts and is on the West Coast of FL, he delivers alot of trailers across the country and may work out a deal to deliver axles or other components. I believe his website is acetrailers.com.
