Default POGIES??

anybody here on the cape getting pogies? i need some weekly for tuna fishing. let me know if you can get them or see them anywere. thanks in advanced, Brian

Call the guy on CL? I know where to catch Herring, but I am not good enough with the cast net I am afraid for catching pogies!

Hey Pat I can show you how to throw a cast net. Not as hard as it looks. Just a matter of actually finding some bunker to throw at.

You can get them on a gill net as well if the cast net is giving you troubles. Have had good luck with matching the depth of the net to the water depth, i.e. 10 ft. deep net would work good in 11-15' deep water.
