Default Raising the deck

What is the right hight to raise to make it self bailing i am putting a bracket on with closed in transom .

What a pleasant surprise to hear a deck called a deck instead of a FLOOR! Floors are transverse beams that support the keel.

Default You did not say what size sea craft? I would raise the floor 2 inches

on a 20 sea craft. If you go higher you will have little free board from the floor to the gunnel.
