The boat looks great, shine. The world is clearly round, and that's a fine permit. Congrats.

I got stuck between this one and 9 mile bank on the western edge of Florida Bay in July of '07. It was hard to tell which way it was moving, and we made a break for it in my 18' Action Craft. The water spout was on the starboard and the flats were to port. It got a little wet and breezy as we ran through the remnants, and I lost my push pole in the maelstrom. Ain't doin that again.

Yowza Dave!! There is no where to hide out there at Nine Mile Bank and NO short cuts back to Islamorada!! I had a friend who finally talked his wife to go fishing with him, she was not to fond of fishing, anyway they got caught trying to outrun a water spout about 25 yards from shore, they ended up about 50 yards on shore. She now REALLY hates fishing and will never go again!
