Lightbulb Sticky FYI threads?

I am not quite a noob here anymore, and I was thinking. Do we need sticky threads in each section for some basic topics? We generally have one or two per section.

I was thinking of these:

General section: VDH Hull shape/years made/numbers made/VIN/ characteriestics of each manufacturer.

Performance: Power versus weight versus seakeeping for 20 and 23 hulls, another one on motor height and one on props

Repairs/mods: Strick's rebuild thread is great, maybe a thread on pro/con on brackets and bracket types (I think Bushwacker has a great post on this). And maybe a transom rebuild thread.

This would allow newer folk to get up to speed quickly.

Just a thought. I don't want to turn this into "The Hull Truth" or anything, just looking at the questions I had and others repeated when they joined.

Any thoughts?
