Intro and a boat
I am a new seacraft owner as of December. 1974 20 Seafari with 140 Nissan outboard. Purchased from board member. I have the boat at Jekyl Island Marina, GA. Have only been out a couple of times as I'm there when work etc allow. Did a few things when purchased such as add a dual battery setup, wiring a horn, radio and swith panel. I'm working on connecting main gas tank as the portable I'm running does not offer enough range. Hope to complete the tank my next trip down. I plan to run it as it is this year and go from there with additional rehab. Enough about me.
In traveling I have found a Seafari 20 inboard that has been sitting by the road for at least a year as that is when I first saw it. Stopped and took some pictures. they are attached. The red boat is mine but the white one is the road find. It is in Perry GA. I will going by there tomorrow and will check on address location if anyone is interested. I'm interested in meeting any members in the St. Simons area to find out about the fishing and things I should know about the waters. I have enjoyed reading the posts. |

You found a great boat, enjoy.
I have very good memories of mine. Connor The white one is an original drive(which is junk), probably original engine. Sellor may not realize he has a complete redo on his hands, not worth much as it is. |

The white looks like a Moesley hull as it has four stations on the bow rail.

Yes, it also has the 2-piece folding cabin door instead of the one-piece door, so it's probably a '69 or 70. Also has the galley seat, so would make a nice cruising rig with a modern engine/outdrive installed.
