Hi Dave, Yeah I think that picture was after the weight came off and the fish went back down. I really like that length of white 130 at the tip. I like the rod too, it loads up nice, and the bite is clear. The manual crank quit working a few trips ago, have to take it apart and figure out how to fix it.

Is the handle not engaging or is it turning with the motor?
There are four Allen head screws in that ss sleeve next to the handle; loosen them and the handle will come off. There is a pin in the end that engages the the low gear; pull it out and make sure it's clean and no salt on it.

"fixed" it, the little allen screws were just loose

Don't tighten the Allen screws too much, otherwise the handle will spin when you engage the electric drive.
Also the screws sit between the two channels on the drive shaft so the handle doesn't fall off.

You have to find the screws happy spot!
