Made some progress today. Cut out the fish box because the glass was all delaminated, we cut out some stuff in the transom because we are going to add a fish box. Built a new hatch for the casting platform. We have a couple more hatches to build. Cut out the only soft spot in the deck. The plywood was real damp in the whole area we cut open. Now we have a decision to make. Do we redo the whole deck or not. Question about pulling the cap. We need to record it in a few areas. How hard is it to remove? Just unscrew and cut the glass under the anchor locker? We want to fix the core from the bottom. Input is greatly appreciated.

I have been so busy with work and everything. Crazy times, also bought the woman a new car. Anyway on to the boat. The new transom is in. We are fixing a hole on the bottom where the old transducer was at. We were debating what we were going to do with the bottom. After getting under it and working on it we found out that it only has bottom paint. I dont see any barrier coating under the bottom paint. We are going to try and strip it off and see how the gel coat looks. After that we are going to finish the transom with the new baitwell. Hoping to have her ready before summer, certainly by mini season. It has been a good bit of work. Once the fabricating is done its painting and rigging. We havent decided what to paint the inside with yet. We are between Interlux perfection ($$$$) or gercoat (hardwork) open to suggestions.
