I told Mel there was no way our old dive sled was going to win a "Gucci" award. That comment has cost me a lot of $$$.

That will be the hanging chad on this build. The golden rule on this build was that every molecule of wood would be eliminated. So far we have stuck to this pledge and plan on continuing to the end. That said there is plenty of chrome jewelry complements of Gemlux to provide eye candy as well as some planned lighting upgrades. In the end we are hanging our hat on keeping this a fully functional dive boat focusing on high tech components, electronics, comforts and huge changes in the overall hull structure and appearance. Many of the "Gucci" items will never be seen but certainly felt as there now four full composite bulkheads tied from bottom to top. Not one glued or screwed seam exists on the entire boat. This girl has dropped over 800lbs in dry weight over the last restore and if that ain't sexy nothing is.

Looks great Moose.
I keep telling myself no wood on the old boat.
Just a helm pod?
Playing around with Allwood from Awlgrip now.
They have a yellow and a red tint primer.

Yellow for teak and red for mahogany.
The yellow looks just like varnish.

The tiger grain is popping on Todd`s lures dash.
Thanks Todd!
