Default 23 seacraft 1985 Livewell questions

Hey guys been off the website for a wile but I just got another seacraft a 1985 23 that I am very happy with . It’s got twin 150hpdi and the owner before must not have fished because they live well was blocked off and she don’t have and rod holders only dive tank holders. I see there is a factory drain on the well at the bottom that goes straight out the back but is below waters level so it always fills and being that the boat has twins she sits ass heavy , my question is I put a 1100gph bait well pump on her but I’m sure I need to add another 1 1/2 inch over flow towards the top but even so it looks like it will be under the water line still so I always have a lot of water in the back of the boat . If anyone has any pics or info on how they have there floor Livewell I would love to see them thank you , And dose anyone have the spec sheet on a 1985 seacraft 23 curious to see how many gal live well it is and the fuel tank I think it’s 100 but not sure thanks guys

You can put a ball valve on the drain going out the back and keep it closed when your not using it

I am thinking I need to put a 2 inch over flow at the top and a good gasket around the Livewell hatch and hope for the best

You could take a thin piece of starboard, etc. cut it to fit the opening, then cut the hole accessing the well smaller so when the water sloshed, it would remain in the well instead of trying to come out. Like the one that may have been in your 18.
