Default 1977 20' MA rebuild!

I picked up a 20' MA a couple weeks go, has a good trailer and good motor on it. it is usable for a few times this season then the overhaul will begin. The stringers are wet(dont know how far up from transom) and a couple small wet spots on transom, not mulch yet though. Gonna go composite for everything. Ive read either to redo stringers with foam or to leave empty and put weep holes in, due to condensation. The deck and transom will most likely be coosa. I want to close transom in and put a bracket on (ive read mixed reviews about a bracket also). the deck i think im going to raise a bit and keep the drains through the hull. Then slap a new console on since mine looks like its been through war. Any info/suggestions are very much welcome!!
