Default 23 Savage to CC conversion/restore

Well I hope I don't get shunned for doing this but I got a good deal and it's what I want to do so its begun! I cut the cabin/cap off and will recore and shape it to have gunnels similar to a center console. I'm going to leave the liner in and just recore the front deck and keep the hatches as well as make the old cabin floor into a hatch. I'm going to use all coosa for the floor and transom, haven't decided on the cap yet. For the stringers I'm going add 3/4 strips of coosa on top of them and glass them to it. It'll be a little higher than original but not by much. I plan to add a bracket and close the transom in with a fish box back there. I'm going to attempt to upload some pictures for y'all. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Tips on doing the cap would help too.

Ok so what if u made that box up front a ice cooler. I want to put two insulated fish boxes in the flor on each side of the fuel tank do you think there is enough room now that you have taken out the deck?
