Top was done by Quality marine in Ft Lauderdale was on when I got boat, think their closed down.Top went back to transom when i got it found 1 person that would cut it down for $250. Went to six other shops all said it can't be done. Would never know it was cut unless you see the two welds.

The six other shops either wanted to sell you a new one or they just dont know how to do fab work. I have cut down alum and like you said you see just the welds. If it were stainless you wouldnt be able to tell at all. When you do stuff like that you want to stiffen where the weld is. It is much stronger if you sleeve a smaller tight fitting piece in the joint spanning 3 to 4 inches both ways of the weld for strength on the inside of the pipe.

Wow on of the sharpest 20s I've come across ESP with the full enclosure makes that a much bigger boat! Love what you did with the live well/transom mold in the stern! Looks OEM all the way! Well done mate and thx for the porn!

I see you in Boynton Beach, I was a signature away from leaving this god for shaken state of Connecticut. I still don't know why I didn't, my winters consist of boat porn like this, forums, projects ( when I can feel my finger tips) And DVRing all fishing shows! Lol
