Getting close to painting deck and inside boat clipper white pretty close to console color. Using Awlgrip for roll/brush noneskid .Has anyone used flattening agent to tone down so reflection won’t kill my eyes.

Have used it a few times over the years in Awlgrip and more recently Interlux's 2 part urethane. Both had the desired effect of killing the gloss of the enamel. It can be used in different proportions depending on the effect your're after. There is a limit to how much can be added though. The key to any of these additives is keeping everything well mixed throughout the process. Best of luck!

The nonskid itself will break up the glare plenty. Most of the painters i know dont use it, they say it makes the boat a bit harder to clean...
