Sceptre23 Hardtop
Gents - anyone have, seen, have pictures or know anything about the Sceptre Hardtop? Don’t recall much mention of one here on the forum. Sitting on my porch with too much spare time wondering about adding a hardtop to a Tsunami hull? Thoughts?

I believe a couple years back a member here may have had one. It was posted here by Captain Mick of Hilton Head Island, SC. Think it was free. Do a search in For Sale.
Vezo, Part II I’m in Hernando Beach another nine days. Is this wind finally going to lay down tonight??? |

I might have misspoke when I called it a hardtop. What I was referring to in my daydream was the hardtop/fly bridge combo as seen in the Forum library section. Maybe now they’re referred to as cabins.

It is the Flybridge 23..
There are not a lot of them around !! Truly a rare bird.. Entourage did the pilot house version...

As a SeaCraft dealer in the early 80's, I only once saw a 23' hardtop, and never a 23' flybridge. The hardtop was one that came in for service, and it was powered by twin Mercruiser 140's. The engine box/cover had a step molded into the center front to allow easily stepping up onto the box. There was very little room to stand on either side of the box at the transom, perhaps 12 inches or so on each side. It was a very odd setup.

I am also looking at the best way to add a hardtop, is this something that people have had to custom build?
My 1975 Sceptre is based in Cape Cod |

Fr Frank - do you recall what the headroom was like in the 23 Flybridge/hardtop? Was the existing Scepter windshield setup used or was it a complete new arrangement?

Yes. A good top builder could build all of it.
