Welcome!

Sorry you’ve been infected too. I’ve been rebuilding a 25 for awhile now. Lots of knowledge around this place.

I also rebuilt my 96 Suzuki dt200 Down to pistons. Hit me up on boat or outboard.

There’s a couple of great threads on brackets and cvg shifts here particularly on seafaris. Worth the read. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Default CG and Seacast comments

bassriverdoormat-
I am the original owner of a ‘76 Seafari which we still enjoy- early on for offshore trolling, snorkeling and skiing. Mostly a watersports tow boat on SC lakes now.
For estimating CG shifts see my post of 9-24-16 and the associated comments.
I did a Seacast pour last year. PM me if you care to discuss my pro and con comments on Seacast. The results so far are satisfactory, but if I were doing it again there are some things I would probably do differently. A great boat, enjoy it!

Glad you are making progress. These Seafaris are well worth saving. Are you from Jersey? There is a Bass River in South Jersey.

Sailor, I'm in the Boston area and spent many years fishing out of Bass River out on the Cape. Thanks for the offers gents, I'll be sure to pick your brains when the time comes.
