Look's fine, she was actually in pretty good shape, glass wise.
Aft bilge, offset portside center line.
Lifejackets, new mo betta cooler under seat, Rigid Frigid.

What made you guys make the decision that the stringers didnt need to be replaced. Is there a way to check to see if the stringers are bad or check and see if they have wet foam in them if they do have foam. Boat looks great

I dont know how often Ole checks this site...The stringers in this particular boat are foam filled and you can see where they have them fully exposed in the first few pictures..they would have most likely checked for water intrusion into the stringers by visual inspection and if still not sure then drill a couple test holes down near the bottom and check for weeping. Water in the foam in these old boats will settle at the bottom of the stringers...It's quite a chore to get out the old foam on these boats...

Potter told me one time. You can drill a 1" (easy size to plug up later)hole at the bottom aft. Insert a 1"Dx12"L Nylon piece of rope, therefore creating a "Wick System" for absorbing any water within the stringer & draining it into the bilge. I always hated raising the decks which puts more pressure against your knees aft plus safety is compromised with low gunwhales. Proper deck drainage (wet feet) is not hard to correct the existing thru deck scuppers. Carl Moesly's "Criss-Cross" out the transome is just one of the fixes.
