Hey Casey, I had a Bob's 6" plate on my 22' Pathfinder. Comparing that and a 20' SC is a bit difficult due to the deeper Vee in the SC. Two things to remember, 1. you will need a low water pick up to take full advantage of the jack plate on plane in shallow water, 2. remember outboard water pumps do not pick up water they only move it, so when on idle you have to make sure the water pump is below the surface (my Yamaha would let you know real quickly when the jack plate was too high on idle...water pressure zero and a nice loud alarm).
