Default Seafari 25

Hello everyone,

I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. Never really had the chance to own a Seacraft while I was getting through nursing school or starting up my career, but was always intrigued by the reputation of these legendary hulls. After a few years in Reno, I moved to San Diego to be with my then girlfriend and now wife. With the move came a nice raise, and I decided to start browsing for a potential boat the last few months. Amazingly, Strick's old Seafari was up for sale only 3 hrs away from me. I went to check it out, and the rest is history. I'm excited to own a ride with such craftsmanship. Really looking forward to taking her out of Oceanside Harbor as well as San Diego. I primarily plan on fishing and diving with her, overnighting at Catalina is likely as well.

If Strick or anyone has the pictures to the build thread for her, I'd love to get hold of them as they are not present in the thread any longer.

It’s a nice old boat for sure and it’s sturdy. I had some seat boxes that I made originally but the guy that bought it from me took them out. one of these days I’ll get time and try to find my pictures I save everything on a hard drive my old computer was not a Macintosh like I have now and last time I tried to download I had a problem from that hard drive but I will try soon enjoy the boat

Thanks Strick, I appreciate it. Your work has stood the test of time, she's still in excellent shape. I can't wait to take her out and see how she rides. I sent you a PM with my email for when you get around to hunting those pictures down.

Congratulations, lucky man! There is only one other 25 in existence that rivals your boat.

KTC and I had corresponded about buying my 25. Then Stricks boat came up for sale. A no brainer decision.

Finally had a chance to get her out on the water. Didn't get many pictures, just cruising on a lake to get used to the controls and test out all the bilge pumps, washdown, bait pump etc. Was quite enjoyable, but the real test will be in the saltwater soon
