Default 25’ Seafari outboard

Anyone ever get the 25’ to ride properly rigged with outboard ?

Seems would be a great ride if achieved.

I was dead set on doing this once too. I got a 25’ that was previously outboarded with a 200hp 2 stroke. P/O said it was a little bow high but not too bad. Made trip from Maui to Hawaii island across Alenuihaha (I’ll end you haha) channel. GPS proved was true.

Doing the numbers on balance as well as power and availability I decided to go back sterndrive.

The deck space with OB is amazing. I suspect the ride with my LS will be worth the cost of deck space.

Default Boat Balance

Hey xcomunic8d
Glad it worked out for you. I recall some exchanges with you about repowering choices vs balance if my “cg estimator” was any help, pls encourage others to try it. Thx

Yup that’s my point with this response. You have converted me terry. I hate losing the deck space but no way to argue about the performance. Numbers don’t lie.

I thought I mentioned it below but evidently I did not. It’s an amazing tool

Thumbs up

Xcominuc8d-
Thanks for the response and plug.
My wife tries to remind me that some folks don't think as analytically.
