SEACRAFT:

july 10 1987

Seacraft industries. inc. on july 1 1987 sold all of it's operating fixed assets and name to tracker marine corp. of springfield. missouri.

It is my understanding that the new tracker/seacraft corp. should be able to complete and deliver all of the open orders for 1987 model year boats before august 1.

All of us at seacraft are gratefull for the good business and loyalty you have shared with us over the year's and hope tracker marine's new markrting plans for saecraft will fit in with your operations.

respectfully.

chairman of the board

I want you all to know that I have all these files. prices.spec's. etc. on the boats from 1972-1987.--18--20--23--and some on 25-27. AND that you can thank Mr.Andy Meinke- stage harbor marine
chatham .cape cod. mass.--I'll get his website and post for you. If you want to know any thing about your boats just ask I'll see what's in all this paper work.

Steve-
Great info on the Seacraft-Tracker change over. Based on Jason's history in the 80's - 1987, CSY built Seacrafts. My dad has an 87 18 foot and was told it was Potter built. If you have info, I would appreciate. It is interesting to note that his Coast Guard information plate on the console shows the power rating at 175 HP and my 1989 shows the power rating at 150 HP? I figured that it was a weight issue in the stern.

It seems that this b/yard sold the last 18' in 79 . sorry... but the two they did sell had two different transom height's one for motors
w/20'' shafts and one for lrg.er motors w/25'' shafts. this maybe why the diff. in the paper work that you have 140 vs. 175. I have yet to get
the time to go through all this paper work.
If you have a fax #. I will be happy to
send all i have. lay out's- color add's -etc. If you don't , when i get time i have to copy all of this because it has to go back to the boat yard at some point. steve

Steve,
I have a 1982 23' Sceptre outboard that I would love to have original specs on. Let me know if you still have this paperwork handy.

Thanks,
ScottM
