Trailers

I currently have a roller trailer. (Rollers down the center supporting the keel with more rollers supporting the outer panel edge). Is this the proper type of trailer for a 20' Master Angler? I only ask because I saw a similar question at the Whaler site. I know they have different hulls but figured it is better to be safe than sorry.

SeaCraft have longitudinal stringers and have very thick hull skins.

Whaler's have no stringers, patented foam core, and have thin hull skins. This is why they can not have roller trailers. Truth be told I left an Outrage 20 on a roller trailer all last winter and it is ok., but Whaler strongly discourages the use of roller trailers, I think using them voids their warranty.

You can use a roller trailer with a SeaCraft. I have one for my 20 and it is nice. I imagine a bunk or keel roller trailer would work just as well. depends alot oin your local launching ramps and personal preference..

I have a 1967 19' and till about a year ago I had the orginal Seminole trailer that came with the boat. The trailer only had keel rollers and two 12" wide rollers on the back, with two drop-down wooden bunks that you pulled up after the boat was loaded. This was the best working trailer I have ever seen, I could load the boat in a 20mph cross wind with the boat starting out at a 45 degree angle to the tralier and it always wound-up perfect every time no matter what..!! I now use an Escort bunk trailer which fits the boat the same way. But it's harder to get level it doesn't have the wide rollers on the back
