Default Trim Molding?

I am trying to finish off the area around my rod racks in my 84 20 footer. The former owner carpeted directly over the interior area around the racks and the transition from carpet to the decking looks like cr*p. Any ideas? I was looking at rigid vinyl trim from tacomarine.
