Default Interior Trim Pieces - John B?

Hello all (and especially John B..LOL) -

I'm trying to dress up the old girl '75 20CC, and want to replace the trim piece that runs along the bottom/interior side of the rail cap.

John B - in the pics of your restore job, it looked as if you'd put in a new piece of trim (black).

Question is: Where can I find this stuff?

Thanks again guys... this site has been a great help and reference for me!

I looked at Taco, but wasn't sure if it was the right material or not... liked the way John B's looked and thought I might get pointed in the right direction.

Question 2:
I see that a lot of you guys have Rhino Lined the interior section of the gunnel that was once covered in carpet.... can you give me a ballpark price on this job?

(Threw the shot glass out the window, drawing straight from the bottle) $2,000.00?!? Yikes!

I might tow the old girl over to Line-X or Rhino and get a quote... thanks for the heads up, I'll take my bottle with me!

I sure appreciate you checking into the trim for me Cappy.

I've gel coated the inside of mine after cleaning it up and fairing out the woven roven. That will cost about $30.00 and some a little bit of hard work. For the trim, I'll be using a "U" shaped channel.

EBEACH - is the u-channel deep enough to cover the screw holes from the previous trim? ... and is this something I can find in a local auto parts store?

Not sure if it will cover your screw holes. Most marine stores sell the stuff. Auto Parts store? Maybe.

I was looking into the idea of finding enough people interested in the stuff, then order a roll from Trim-Lok. They have now a 500 ft minimum.
