Default How I spent MY weekend

Other than dodging rain, I finally painted the console and some misc. parts and installed the fuel tank. The first image is of the new 133 gal. from SPTanks.com with 1" strips of Teflon 5200'd to the tank and 4200'd to the boat. I believe it's referred to as the "Pascoe" method. The second image shows Tom (Salty Dog) admiring a nice, tight fit. He's loves that kinda stuff...

Cramming for July 4th weekend...

Hey John,

Thanks. Nice location, huh? Fortunately, that's the practice facility for the 36 hole complex that surrounds our property. All of the balls go away from us... most of the time.

Now you know why I name my boats... Titleist

Otto,

Is that Awlgrip and if so what color or mix? What a pretty boat. I am getting ready to spray my '75 cc and want to find a nice dark blue color like yours.

Thanks,
CMB

CMB,

Thanks for the comments. The paint is Interlux "Brightsides" Dark Blue. I'm very pleased with the color and how it went on. A little wet sand and buffing... You'll see the finished product before too long.

Otto, Your boat looks great! I wouldn't expect any less from you!

Hey, can I borrow your sander? (saltydog) I'd like to get my boat in by the 4th as well.

Hell of a job, Otto. Congrats...

Let me know how that Pascoe gas tank mounting method works. I am going to pull the tank out of my 23 Mako in the fall and I dont want to foam her back in.
