Finster, last I knew that price was for the hull only I called them in Aug. It was for sale a while ago with the engine for 26K+ then they took the engine off to lower the price. I believe that the $12500 is what the owner has in to the resto. Much more resonable at that price I wish I had the money to buy and repower, sharp boat!

Very sharp boat and one people should look at if they want a real nice one without restoring... One of the guys here saw it as it's at the marina next to him... Thought it looked pretty nice...

Yeah boy, I am thinking of selling my Aquasquirt(sport) to buy this. I used to have a bunch of people interested in it, but of coarse now that I want to sell I sure no one will.

Yeah, we've talked about this one a couple of times before.

Probably a high quality job: anyone who throws on a $350 Edson wheel hopefully did not skimp in other areas. That said, if the resto did not include a new transom I would be pretty hesitant to drop $12k on an unpowered '75 hull. That has to be w/o power: a recent 200 Opti + rigging would go for >$9k alone. This boat has been for sale for close to or more than a year, but it appears that the seller is not very good about updating the description or the price.

Did they build up the aft boxes to transom height lockers, or was that an option for that year? I know that's how the 21 is rigged, but the bow stowage looks like a 20'.

Just heard back from the dealer and it is with out power I'm not sure of the details of the resto. If someone is interested I can go up there and find out and take some better pic's.
Without power I don't think they would take what I could offer.
I am curious why someone would drop all that dough on a SC resto, then go buy a Parker???

OK - dusted off my search capabilities here (I think I know about 50% of the Seacrafts for sale online for the past 6 months thanks to my photopornagraphic memory - bad joke - just ask )...

Here is a link to a previous thread we had on this boat - when it was at 26K with the Merc EFI since June-ish or so. http://www.classicseacraft.com/cgi-b...c;f=4;t=000068

The Transom looks done. It's raised and the splash door aint stock: Personally - the console is small for me but it is nicely done (according to the pics)
This boat would be a GREAT candidate for a Suzuki DF140

Now - if anyone does buy this puppy, be sure to give the seller my e-mail addy so he can send me some commision

My thoughts too about df140. Though something tells me the transom wasn't done below the water line. I may just have to take a ride up there for the hellofit. Who knows he may take 8k??

FWIW....

I saw the boat over the summer and at that time it had a 2002? Merc 200 EFI hanging on it ....thats when they wanted 26,000 for the boat. The boat does look in great shape , although I did not climb inside....as a salesman wanted to know if I was interested and really didnt feel like dealing with him... paint is in good shape .... there is some crazing and some hair line stress cracks but nothing major....thats how I found out it was not a new boat....as from a distance it looked pretty new.

Topside looks really nice ..very clean and simple...as I think the boat was used for flyfishing..and it looked almost as if a new cap and liner/deck was placed in the boat...someone did some real nice FG work to it and did a nice deck..I think its got a Diamond nonskid??..SS rubrail ...a real nice custom T-top w/Eisenglass panel and a custom? console....If I recall the HID was not there ..... I assume ground away during the transom work and the paint job....

A 12,500 boat for 8,000 ….. I don’t think you’ll see that happen in Brielle especially with a broker dealing with the boat ….Maybe if it was still Hoffman’s Marina….
Prestige Yacht... I don’t know enough about to comment…and who knows …..BUT I’m sure at 12,500 the original owner is already taking it on the chin….

It’s still a real nice boat
