Default 20' 1971 seafari in Ct.

Yoo Hoo..Otto...I'm going backwards on the boat theory. 2 to 1.. My family situation requires me to stay with the larger of the two. I figure wiyh the off-boating season approaching, my boat would make a nice winter task.
Here's the skinny: 1971 robins egg blue seafari.
1986 mercury 135 hp motor runs fine. polyethelene 35 gallon gas tank. all gauges work.I have owned the boat for 4 years,it hasn't been in the water 4 three. Transom seems solid, no flex when you push.. Boat sitting on a cox single axle trailer which I honestly wouldn't take looong distances without a thorough going over.. I don't own a digital camera but I have access to one.
I would like to think $5250..any input would be appreciated. My work # 1.800.595.8224

Catman,

I bought a '71 20' Seafari this spring it's in the queue for a rebhab. Found a V6 Vortec/Bravo for it.

Best of luck.

Catman,

I guess I've built a reputation as a "collector". The 4 boat theory, as nuts as it seems is alive and well. The unfortunate thing is that the (2) SeaCrafts are not among the usable at the moment. Things will change substantially this off-season as I expect to sell the 1995 Carver 325 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht.

But that Seavette sounds pretty interesting. Too bad Potter never made that model in a 27'...
