Not sure of the dimensions, but the "S" logo goes forward of the SeaCraft lettering on the port side (I oddly don't have any photos of the other side of my boat when the original logo was still on it).

I doubt the size of the letters was any different on the 18' than it was on any of the other models. Maybe get a rubbing off another boat and have a vinyl sign making shop make you a set.

The Capitol "S", "C" and small "f" are 3 1/8, and the small letters are 2" with the exception of the small "t" which blends to the f and is a little larger than the rest of the small #'s
Hope that makes sense. Look thru the archives on the for sale section under OEM Decals a few months ago. I've got a link in there for a pic of the decals I measured. They are the same size as the origionals of the 70's.
Dave.

yo mts

Regardless of what SeaCraft decal you go with you still need to buy some "Classic Potter 1975 HDS" stickers

HDS STICKERS

On the couple 75s I've seen, the logo has been forward of the letters and the letters are black with a grey outline. Also, it seems that the logo in 75 was the freehand type without the box (see my sig pic) also edged in grey.

Hey mts, I also have a '79 MA inside Hilton Head and am from Jersey as well. Where does your brother keep his boat? I'll be up at some point this summer and would like to see his boat. Have the cobia shown up inshore there yet? Have friends coming late this month-hope I timed it well. Also, Chuck I would like to order the stickers for my '79 but do not have PayPal?.?

Mike, That's funny, my mom is from Tinton Falls. I grew up in Holmdel, with a bungalow in Ocean Gate, on Barnegat. My dad still lives in Shrewsbury, next door to Tinton Falls. I'd like to see his MA. May be going up soon to pick up another Jersey Speed Skiff, one with a transmission! Keep in touch, Vezo.
