Default Teak Spray Rails

My 20 MA came with teak spray rails. I'm debating whether or not to remove them. I'm not wild about having 15 screw holes in the boat on each side at the water line. But if the rails make a big difference in keeping you dry (especially out here where the water is high 50's low 60's) then I'll keep them.

I know that a few of you guys have these on your boats . . . I'd love to hear some feedback on your experiences with rails.

Keep them. they make all the diffrence in the world. it gives you a dry ride plus some bow lift. and it's said to increase you're fuel efficiency by a bit.

The second pic down is the best bow shot I can find. I think there were pics on theboatzone.com too, but I'm having trouble getting there now.

I was hoping to get a pix of the Stem where the sprayrails come together.
I sure do like his skiff. It has Class written all over it.
Those colors sure make the boat.

Back to your question after all the joking around. I guess you want to keep them natural? Right? Honey Teak or I found a product by POR 15 that looks interesting.

Warthog,
I saw Jim's boat last summer at Trayder's house, and if I remember correctly, the rails don't run all the way to the stem, they stop about an inch or two away.
