Mark,
What are they saying down your way for landfall, intensity, etc?

Good luck to all of you in Florida.

nobody in my neighborhood is doing much talking, mostly hammering and using screw guns to put something over windows.

probably a good weekend for kite flying enthusiasts

In Stuart about 100 miles north of Miami, Martin County planned to urge up to 7,500 residents to evacuate low-lying areas starting at noon Thursday.

Hey Brad, if I were you and had the back well chained in the rear , I would still fill her with water particularly if you can get the bow down so that the most water weight is forward. Isabel last year I removed everything on top- also taped down all of my hatchesso the wind could not rip them up and off. All curtains, cushions off. Antennaes layed down then secured/tied down. Put my anchor over and left some scope on it. (Isabel was a P*ssy compared to what Frances is also. Even though you have her tied down to concrete blocks you can never have too many lines on the boat and the trailerand since you are in Homestead, I would tie her up on the west side of your house/property if possible and up tight to it. Not much more you can do- you are getting out right ???? Sure hope so-plenty welcome up here if you need somewhere to go. ~16 hr drive

Our prayers to all in the path of Frances. Please make good choices and be safe. The rest is all about insurance.
