Default TWO SWORDFISH IN THE BOAT BY 10 PM

We went out Saturday night looking for some alternatives for Thanksgiving dinner and ended up with 2 Swordfish one about 70 lbs or so and the other about 125 or so. Took some pictures and screwed that job up. There are a lot of Swords out here this time of the year. In the past 5 trims we have caught 6 fish from 70 to approx 175 lbs.

P.S I am into the one boat theory using it 4 times more often that Otto.

pretty work on the swords dude!!!!fine eating for the holidays !!!! I hate a damn turkey myself so I prefer large shrimp wrapped in bacon barbied on the grill with fresh crabcakes on the side (maybe some she-crab soup for the appetizer) Beats the heck out of bird- the bluefins are skying all over the place here (8 to 15 miles off the beach running large striped bass and big bluefish and no sooner than 3 or 4 bluefins were caught they shut down the season- , thats right, slammed the door in our face-2nd year in a row- pisses me off . Anyways keep on em, sounds like you have there number down, watch out for those rouge tankers at night and have a great holiday.

Thanks guys for the congrat’s. Swordfishing is becoming a real alternative fishing trip for me now a days although it is usually a very long night and a longer run home. Usually after you get your baits out you can relax and enjoy the night with a few friends. I especially like it during the middle of the summer down here when it gets very hot for a fishing trip during the day although the winter time there is more fish around. There was one boat the other night that had 9 fish on and boated 6 of them. Some are to small and you let them go but just one 150 ponder will fill your freezer for a while.

Ha Tom
I noticed that you have or had a web site matecube.com. Do you have a place down in the keys in Matecumbe??? I go down there every year for the past 20+ years and stay at Caloosa Cove.
