Default Hard top alum. cleaner

Does any one out there have experience cleaning the alum. on a hard top? What is the best product to use, or method to do it. My hardtop has a lot of pitting on it and am not sure how to get rid of it. Thanks

Flitz works wel on aluminum. It will actually put a mirror shine on it if you use rub hard enough. You could wet sand then use the Flitz, I have done that before on my pedestals and then buffed for a mirror finish. If the pits a very deep there is not much you can do short of powdercoating.
