Default New SeaCraft pricing

Today while I was sitting on the Throne in the bathroom. I picked up my Saltwater Sportsmen magazine and started flipping through the pages. Any way between the grunts and groans I was looking at the specks on all the manufacturers of boats and turned to the CC boats dropped down to the new 23 SeaCrafts which are listing price for approx $43,000 and the Regulator 23 for approx $85,000. Now I know there is a difference in fit and finish between the two boats now a days but approx double for the same length hull??? Was this a type o or something?? That’s a lot of $$$ difference and not to upset my fellow Potter built Comrades off but they got that boat priced right.

Fellowship- Got the same mag and noticed that too. It's got to be the hull on the SC23 vs. hull and power on the Reg? Got to love sales ploys . The same guy who thought that up must have been the guy selling flats boats that cruise @ 40 knots in 4 foot seas .

I was at the NYC boat show and a nicely setup 23 SeaCraft (complete with a 250 HP ETEC) was quoted to me in the low $60's.

I go threw those boats pretty throughly at the boat show every year. And at 43k I still think their over priced. And last years model was worse than the year before, so let see what they have to offer this year....

I know I know, now your all saying I'm going to get a bitch PM from the lurker. Oh well, bring it on.

Acutally, the posts on other web sites and comments that I have heard in general suggest that we have some very knowledgable members who border on being fanatical.
