I've got a 1987 18' sf that has a few switches going bad. Has anyone changed theirs out and if so with what style and brand. Thanks MarlinT220

Re: Replacing electrical switches
i used blue seas and instead of replacing individual switches I went with an 8 switch panel likes on this page- i dont particularly like the fuse holders but I do like the panels- blue seas makes good stuff, check out there website- craig

Re: UMW BASEBALL
Hi Marlin- "just a dad" ,lol- funny you ask- i love baseball as well. My son is a senior this year and 15 years of being a baseball dad is finally coming to an end (Season starts next week?) Anyways its been a long, fun, trip but I must say college baseball is a much different experiance that I enjoyed much less than high school. Besides the fact that I get to see very few games and the games that I do see are a coin flip as to whether or not I get to see him play as he has been a short relief guy his whole college career. Great comraderie amoung the guys though and an experiance Im sure he will remember the rest of his life. My younger son finished his carreer last year after graduating high school, lol.I noticed a couple of years ago that I thought his interest was waning and asked him about it. Not really waned he told me, but he has much more fun playing adult baseball leauges at home in the summer time and it is just that- fun. He has played with and against some rising stars though. He played with and against Ryan Zimmerman- (3b wash.nats)played with in LL and threw against him in HS, Bill Bray was on his HS team with him (P-Cincy Reds)- and a bunch of other kids playing in the minors. Have I talked about it enough yet???,lol- kinda sad it will come to an end but as I am sure you know, it has cost me and the family a lot of money traveling the country the last 10 years doing the baseball thing but definitely no regrets, baseball people are great!! Tell me about your guy/s and your seacraft!! Craig

Re: UMW BASEBALL
I have a freshman catcher down here in Florida. He is crazy over college ball. We go up to Birmingham Alabama every May for the SEC tournament. It's a fun week. My boy plays at a private school called Northside Christian in St. Petersburg, FL. In 2002, they were the #7 team in the country. Five of their players went to division one colleges that year and the center fielder Lastings Milledge was the first pick of the Mets. He was brought up last year after a fast track in the minors. Two years ago they sent a boy your way to play at Liberty. Many big schools wanted him, but he followed his heart. Sounds like the next level can be just as frustrating as high school. I have witnessed what I call "daddy-ball" since his little-league/aau days. I'm sure it is still there even in college. Hope your boy stays healthy and has a great year. I'll try to follow his team some. About my SC. It's a 1987 18ft with a 135 Mercury Optimax. It is the perfect boat! I only wish that it were a 23ft. We fish for kingfish, grouper, tarpon, and snapper around here. I've been out as far as 26 miles on our best weather days. I've been told that this boat was one of the final ones built by CSY(caribbean sailing yatchts in Tampa). She doesn't look her age! I'll try to post photos later. Talk to you later. MarlinT
