A product called 3m perfect-it 3 rubbing compound or same stuff in extra cut dont use a finishing glaze, finishing glaze is basicaly to work on clear coats or to bring out luster the average Joe will buy it and use it and it wont seen like its worth a cr!! it takes a diffrent kind of pad for buffing ( a foam pad )you will probobly burn the paint if you dont have a lot of experiance

High speed buffer with a wool pad you have to constantly clean wool pad so it does not cake up and leave swirl marks

I use Aqua Buff 2000 that I get from Young Boats and set the buffer at 800rpm with a wool pad.

In the next couple of weeks I am going to try to repaint/touch up the imron paint job on my boat. I have been doing some reading up on it.

We will see what happens.

I have trouble finding the wool pads for my old buffer 7" Pads, should I go bigger or is there a place in Tidewater, VA. I can buy them?
