Re: wiring 23 seacraft
The Blue Seas (I think) breakers are REALLY nice.

Re: wiring 23 seacraft
I like breakers, but they can go bad too. If fuses having very easy access to the fuse panel is key. Blowing a fuse while 50 miles offshore in moderate seas could be a pain without really easy access.

Re: wiring 23 seacraft
What I would do lookup "Scott C" from the classicmako site -- he makes custom CNC switch panels. If you browse around over there you will see his awesome panels.
check out this thread showing his work: http://classicmako.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16410 I read in a thread that he charges $20 per switch slot |

Re: wiring 23 seacraft
Blackfly-
I just re did al the wiring in my console and here is what I did. I ran everything to a Blue Seas 12 post fuse block, then I ran everything to a pair of Blue Seas 6 swithc circuit breakers, sort of a double fused system, that way, if something pops, I go right to the fuse panel and replace what popped, and drive on. I'll post some shots eventually.... |
