Default Console door repair/Size to look for

Anyone know anyone that repairs or can build console doors. I'm going to do the teak re-finish you all have been talking about but my door is in pretty bad shape. As you can see it's held together with stainless things and I'm afraid it will fall apart when I start to work on it. Love to find some old wood worker trapped inside for the winter to fix it.

Any thoughts?

Matt

I would go new. It appears too much juri-riggin to get back in shape. Put the size needed on the site. If not yourself many are going to the Dania Flea Market in a couple of weeks and can scout out new panals for you

This guy makes it look easy:

How to Make Louvered Doors & Window Shutters

It looks like you could turn out some really nice doors after just a little bit of set up.

You could also contact a local cabinet shop. Just make sure you let them know you want it out of teak. It's rough on bits and tools.

AFTER... used the teak slats from original doors and made a frame out of mahogany. Six coats of Epifanes.

Nice salvage job, Wavelength. Like all the trademark wavelengths in the rails, too .
