Hi Guys I was hoping to get some insight on my new project I have a 1971 20' CC it was completly redone in 1989 but has sat for at least 10 years has anybody built a sample budget for re doing one of these models I know this is diffucult because every boat is different but I'm just looking for a starting point this is a very beautiful boat I will put pics up later I want to do a first class refubish I want it to be like a new boat thanks for any input you can give

You can spend as much as you want. As you go back through the archives on this site, you'll see a wide range of results, with each owner being justifiably proud of what they now have. Some spent a few thousand, some spent more than a new 2008 20' SeaCraft would cost at the dealer (and have a better boat than that 2008 I might add).
Tossing out a ball-park figure really isn't of much use as your idea of 'nice' and someone else's idea of 'nice' may be completely different. Suffice it to say, if you spend $15,000 you'll have a 'nice' boat when you're done. If you spend $40,000, you'll also have a 'nice' boat when you're done. When I had my 1971 20'CC redone, I went for NICE [img]/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] .....and it COST ![]() |

I just started my project and I have over 3K into it. And it looks like nothing is been done to it...
