Default baitwell to livewell conversion

I have the 23 w/a with the built in baitwell in the floor.
I would like to know how big that well is and should I turn it into a livewell or just purchase a portable?

If you have the square in deck like my `89 20 , and you are a serious livebaiter, you wont be happy. Bait swim into the corner and die. I cut mine out and used the overflow for my drain and kept the other 2 thru hulls plugged for emergencies. I put a 40 gal oval under a shorty leaning post and mounted my cut down chairs on top. I love it and am planning gimbals for the chairs.

I sure could use some pics of how the baitwell was originally set up. Mine has a pump with a long hose that goes over the transome. There's a valve in the transome that let's the sea water into the baitwell.
