Default 1985 23' Sceptre for sale

I am moving to Australia in 2 months and unfortunatley need to sell my boat. Strict immigation rules and regs are preventing me from taking a boat of this age. The boat is located in Jupiter, FL 33458.

1985 23' poter built sceptre
-Twin 2001 115hp suzuki 4-stroke motors in excellent condition with approx 1100 hrs each.
-1994 Oversized alluminum dual axel trailer
-2001 Alluminum T-top
-Full cockpit ising glass
-Deck canvas attaches to T-top (great for camping and storage)
-VHF
-AM/FM Stereo with CD and speakers on deck and in cabin.
-Newer trim tabs
-Dive tank and rod holders
-Removable Taco Outriggers

This boat runs great and is in excellent condition. Cruises at 23MPH around 4,000 RPMS and gets around 3.5-4 MPG.

Asking $15,500 OBO... MUST SELL!!!!

Feel free to call me (561) 719-5406 or e-mail [email protected] for additional information and pictures
(i do not know how to post pictures).

Is 1985 a "Potter hull"?

Bill Potter was NOT at SeaCraft in 1985
The 23 was Bill's design working with Carl Moesly
in the early days..
But sorry to say your boat is not a Potter.
1970 to 1981 were the years I believe he was making
SeaCrafts.

Not to say your boat is any less... It is still a good
boat !!!

See ya, Ken

Rob-What you have been told is wrong. As Nobones said, it was designed in the Potter era, but not built under Potter's ownership. The hull is the same exact hull though. The reputation of that boat is excellent. Sorry to hear that you are selling. Best of luck.
