That's gonna be one bad, or "wicked" as you might say, pot-pulling pilothouse 23. Looking great! If anyone asks about a pilothouse on the 23, yours will be the referral. WTG

Yeah it has been a long way coming, the hardest part was the mold for the house, duplicating the shape of the factory windshield. The gunwal had to be cut down as well, the pilothouse was built with all foam composite material (NO WOOD). Now i have to get some windows. Any suggestions on the windows and where i can get them from?

Very cool. I've thought about doing something similar. What is the height of the pilot house from the deck to the the ceiling inside the house?

Very interested in following along with this project.

I don't remember the exact height but i am 5'8" tall and i have about 4-5 inches to play with to the roof. The back flange drops down about inch and a half. The foam material is pretty strong, a little more money but worth the weight and strength. I can hang from the back of the roof and get no flex. I estimate the house prob weighs a little less than 300 lbs. If anyone is local and is interested i have the mold set aside.

That is cool. I'm interested to see how she looks when in the water. Looks like you made it so it can be removed later? I thought of doing something like that to a 23 as well. Bobby Wartman over on Classic Mako got some nice windows for his pilot house. Look in the project boat section for his re do.
