gas tank question?

I have a Tempo 18 gal gas tank that I would like to use on my skiff.

Instead if having 2 carry on tanks I could install this one under one of the bench seats and have an extra 6 gal and it would be out of the way.

My question is would it have any problems with the new gas?

On the tank it says that it was made in 1987 and it was made using Polyolefin.

Would I be ok with this?
