Default Good chrome plating shop in Miami-Ft Lauderdale?

Anyone know of a good AND cost effective chrome plating shop in the Miami-Ft Lauderdale area? I just bought a set of Lee Sr. bases and outrigger poles and the bases need a good resurfacing job. The tubes are still shiny and serviceable but the rest of the fittings are slightly turning green so they need a complete job. Thanks for any leads!

There is no such thing as a cheap re-do. Most of the time if can buy new replacements they will be less expensive than a chrome job.

Could the base's be buffed out on a high speed buffer and be made to look OK?

That might be your best bet.

When redoing CJ (Bowrider) and wanting to keep her all original, I checked into re-plating some cleats, lights, air vents, etc. at a local Palm Beach shop. The price was more than DOUBLE what I could buy new (but not same style as in the 1960's).
So Skip buffed it down to the brass and bronze. It actually came out looking neat!!! AND got to keep the original hardware on the boat.

Thanks guys. I've heard of Gulf Plating twice already so I'm sure to call them soon. These bases haven't been produced in many, many years and were the originals offered on bertram 31's. They're 4 feet long with 2 arms, look awesome in 25' and larger boats and work very well so they're worth a bit of money to restore them. I'll try buffing them a bit to see what happens but they'll visit the plating shop sooner or later. Even if I don't get to use them they're worth over $1,000 in good condition.
