Default Buying a 23 Seacraft

Hey guys just joined and had a couple questions about buying a 1987 Seacraft. I put a deposit down yesterday and I found some soft spot in the deck. Its about 8 " wide and 18 " long is this a major fix or a big problem? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
