Default Hull and deck seam

What are guys using for the hull to deck seam.
Whats the best way to do it.
I broke the seam and Im trying to clean with a puddy knife.
Im thinking epoxy with 404 filler

The guys on the site here convinced me to use rivets and 5200, see link to old thread. deck to hull
