Default 79 Sceptre

Heres the new boat I picked up a couple of weeks ago. 1979 seacraft sceptre

BIG thanks to John123 for letting me bend his ear about these boats

It was a one owner boat and stored inside since it was 2 days old in Milford Michigan, which is odd in itself. Never slipped, never bottom painted and the hull looks like brand new!!!

350 volvo 280 drive
T-8 with a tr-1 gold auto pilot
older helm auto pilot (replacing with a new simrad I already have later)
electric windlass
electric b.j.mast
icom m504
4 mag 20's with cannonlink
h-bird 1197si with satelite weather
lowrance x-37
depth raider
coastal nightlights spreaders and underwater lights.

I have worked on it nonstop for 2 weeks to get it rigged this far, I just want to go fishing now!!! Ill do some interior and trailer cosmetics this winter.

Congratulations! Scored like Gretzky! Stole it like Jesse James... Looks like a freaking time capsule. Where do you fish?

Lake Michigan most of the time. Missouri river some, and Lake of the Woods in Minnesota. This has been a fresh water boat its whole life too.

A veritable "Time Capsule"! Enjoy, appreciate and don't ever admit that you STOLE it! Congrats!

What do you all want to bet the transom is as solid as "Day 1?"

Run Forest, Run!

That is a very good deal and a hell of a boat. Congrats and hope you have a great summer aboard her.
