Default How Much??

So within the next year we are going to be selling our boat. I am just having a hard time trying to figure out what it is actually worth. So I just want to get some of your ideas.

Its a 1979 23 SeaCraft that was redone by Hermco about 5 or 6 years ago. It has an enclosed transom, with livewell in the back. A saltwater washdown was installed about a year ago. It has a Raymarine A65 Plotter and Furuno FCV-620 FF. In the e-box there is a regular radio/cd player and an Icom VHF. It is powered by 2003 200 HPDI's with 650 hours. It will also come with a loadmaster trailer with brakes.

So what do you all think is a good price for our boat?

Thanks

I don't know the how the market is doing, but I'd ballpark your boat at $28k-$30K, including the trailer. It'd be worth more if the economy was better. Don does great work, and you're starting with an unbeatable hull.

Your best resource right now is Craigslist.

See whats for sale there in any given price range.

The smart buyer these days go thru a check list...

What are the motors worth ?

What is the trailer worth?

What is the hull worth (this in your case is the hard part)?

The first two are known values, the last is what someone is willing to pay.

All electronics are at least 50% off going prices.

Hopefully when you put it up it will go to someone on the sight
