Default Cloth Recommendation

I need to replace the outer skin on a deck repair of about "16x"16. What weight cloth would you guys recommend?

I use multiple layers of a heavy biax (something like 1708) and sometime end with some woven cloth or mat the help in fairing and print through (if its deck portion thats covered with non-skid they I just use 1708 and be done)
