Default whale bilge pump

Need to replace my bilge pump any one use the whale sub pump? I'm tired of replacing my rule every year.

The rule is used to get the water out fast. A whale pump is used to keep your bilges dry. If you ever came across an emergency the whale pump would not be able to get the water out fast enough. In the bigger yachts they use them to keep oder out of the bilge by keep them dry. But I would still have the rule down there

Thanks for the info squido i wasn't aware of that. I've heard good things about the johnsons probably go that way

Just bought a Johnson pump for my bait well, I notice the packaging says "Made in America"......that's refreshing.
